Chip Watkins

I just read your 2/24/09 e-mail, about generosity. Generosity is independent of how much money we give. Generosity is, most importantly, an attitude of the heart that recognizes that God had generously blessed me, and one aspect of my calling in life to be like him, is to generously bless others. Of course, that attitude of the heart must express itself—through interest in others, giving them our time, our wisdom (such as it is), and, as God calls us, the material resources with which he has blessed us.

The point here is that one can be generous without giving gobs of money.
